Renown Regional Medical Center

Very nice hospital & staff. The nurses in the ICU have been amazing & helpful & friendly. We live in California about 3 hours away & my son was in terrible car accident while in Nevada. We have been staying in The Inn at Renown hotel. Very nice rooms. And nice not to have to leave the building. With a Cafe, Starbucks & subway inside. Cafe serves very good meals.

Delivered my daughter here. First off nurse Hilary was amazing! I told her how my last birth went and she made sure to always explain everything they did while I was there. She even came back to check on me after I had my baby even though I was no longer her patient. Nurse Grace was so kind and talked me through my epidural and through my pushing and helped me stay calm. They made my stay there amazing. They make sure mom spends time with baby so they don't go bug you in recovery unless it's necessary. The cafeteria food here is actually really good surprisingly. Discharge took forever and I had a 1 nurse not take my breastfeeding problems serious. But the lactation consultant came and explained everything and helped me so much and she made sure to answer any questions I had

I went in cause I’m 24 weeks pregnant and had severe pain went into labor and delivery come to find out had kidney stones the doctors and nurses treated me so nice never have I been treated like that they assured me I’ll be fine and I sure left the hospital the next day feeling better. If it wasn’t for the medical staff that responded quickly I wouldn’t ever did my first review with 5 stars thank you again renown staff.

I was just sitting here thinking about when I lived in reno almost 6 years ago, and Renown was where I gave birth to my twin girls. They came about six weeks early and had to be in the nicu for about a month. Let me just say I will never forget this hospital! There staff was AMAZING as well as the nurses in the nicu who took care of my girls, with giving me updates every second I called. The 24 hour visiting hours was so helpful. If I have another I know that no other hospital experience will do justice to what I had here! So thank you for making it such a great first birthing experience.

Staff and nurses are wonderful! But the hospital itself was uncomfortable and lacking in postnatal amenities compared to other hospitals I've given birth in. Cold shower water, tiny bathrooms no bigger than a closet, sporadical meal deliveries, uncomfortable bed, postnatal rooms do not have anywhere for your husband to sleep. Usually other hospitals will have some kind of couch. Delivery room looked dingy. The rails on my bed looked dirty and needed a wipe down. I gave 3 stars as the staff was so awesome, otherwise I would give 1.
