Overpriced and the drinks have so much of a nonsense description you don't even know what you are drinking. Cool atmosphere but the drinks are unbalanced. They are either too sweet or not enough. I recommend only getting Dark Horse if you love and I mean LOVE root beer. Blegh drink otherwise.

Great mixology and atmosphere. Best mixed drinks in town. Expect metropolitan prices, lean on bartender for exploring new flavours. Definitely gets busy later in the night... Seats can be rare.

Dark, classy and intimate are the words I use to describe Death and Taxes. This is a small, elegant little bar with an outstanding drink offering. The house cocktails are deliciously crafted, and the general liquor offering is vast. Small seating areas and leather couches provide an intimate setting for your small group or significant other. Some of the drinks can be a little pricey, but you come to a place like Death and Taxes to indulge a little.

Some of the best cocktails I've ever had in my entire life. The cocktail recipes are so thoughtful and creative and the bartender executed them superbly. I'm not usually a rum drinker, but the rum cocktails were out of this world. I can't remember the name of the rum cocktail I had but it had dragon fruit in it and it was tropical without it being too sweet. Excited to visit again to try more sensational cocktails.

Its freezing outside and noo sympathy from server. No heaters. Bartender was so rude. Zero hospitality or welcoming from staff. I would do negative stars if I could. Terrible. Drinks are supposed to special but service was so bad that it doesn't matter.
