Lake City Brewing Company

We came to Lake City on our honeymoon and always enjoy visiting a small local brewery. We came over with our dogs, and while they're not allowed on the patio, the owner helped us set up with our dogs just off of the patio. The beer was excellent. We tried the cream ale, the nitro stout, the elephant corral IPA, and the #74, IPA. The owner brought every beer out to us and told us all about the history of each beer. We had a great time talking to the locals and would definitely come back!

Excellent place to eat! Their beer cheese sauce is by far the best I have ever had! The staff are very friendly and Wes really made the experience great! He was very sociable and cared about the fact that we are a couple who are taking the whole Coronavirus thing serious and he made sure the chairs were cleaned off well without us even asking. Everyone was also wearing a mask inside which made us feel much better. I know most don't seem to care, but to those who care, this is the place to eat. Even if you don't care it is the place to eat! Great beer selection as well. Will definitely be back every time we are in the area!

Great beer. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Love coming here after a nice mountain hike. Highly recommended!!

Awesome spot! We were looking for any place to enjoy a beer before hiking Handie's Peak the next day. This brewery had a bunch of good beers, a nice patio, and surprisingly good deviled eggs. Came for the beer, stayed for the eggs.

This place is not Pet friendly. We walked up to the front with our small dogs on a leash’s and was told we could set on the patio then the wicked witch showed up and said get our dogs off the patio and tie them them up in the sun if you’d like to stay. I would have put her in the sun before I put my 8# schnauzer in heat. I later came to understand by some of the other businesses in Lake City that the owner is very opposed to all the SXS in town and tried to have them band. I don’t know if the food or beer was any good but if the owner is a animal hater it say a lot about her character and how she handles her customers.
