Voodoo is my favorite latin dance club in southern Wisconsin. The night usually begins with batchata then the energy lifts finishing out the night with reggaeton. Voodoo's main competitor in Madison doesn't compare to a night at Voodoo in the slightest. I have many fond memories dancing here and plan many more nights here in the future!
Rude, disrespectful security staff. One specific security guard ignored me and didn’t believe that I paid 80$ for VIP booth and tables, EVEN after I showed him the Facebook messages. Security guard literally ignored me when I tried speaking to him to work things out. I was told I wouldn’t have to wait in line if I paid in advance, but to my disappointment I DID have to wait in line. I was also told by the security guard that EVERYONE IN THE CLUB HAS VIP. If that’s true, what’s the point of having VIP?? Not to mention that the whole night he wouldn’t stop harassing my group throughout the night. Kicked out two of my friends and wanted to kick out my boyfriend as well. Then, when I wanted to go downstairs he threatened me saying, “Don’t come back upstairs because I won’t let you in again the next time.” NOT the VIP treatment I was expecting. I did not pay $80 to be harassed and threatened.nnGood music, though.
Yum and wow! Spontaneous dinner choice ended up being one of my favorite dining experiences. And if it hadn't been for my curiosity over the strange pink building I probably never would have gone.
Great place to party and dance with your friends. They are constantly improving the small details to serve their customers better. Show up, pay the cover, and get your dance on! Amazing time, always.
The security guards are abusive and management doesn’t care. They treat customers horrible and think they can get away with it because of their legal status in US. This has gone on for too long and it’s getting worse. I have reported them to the district 3 Adler and you all should too.nPablo my post is very much relevant and everyone will know the truth about this place. The police were called for 3 different cases last weekend alone. We are finally going to do something about this!
