Best view and amazing food. Try the Buffalo cauliflower. One of the few place with good vegetarian food that is not salad.

I visited during covid restrictions. The food was satisfactory. The lighting and sounds made communication even with people at the same table as me very challenging. It was raining so we couldnt sit outside.

I decided to head to this neck of the woods on my way home from work since my husband had to work late and I was craving some pho. My favorite Pho place was closed on Tuesday’s ud83dude48anyway I walked around Harvard ave area looking for somewhere to eat, kinda wanting Asian food of some sort but I also really wanted a glass of wine. I finally decided to go into Tavern in the square, been here before always liked it but kind of forgot about it. After working in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and with us now in a pandemic I tend to go to the restaurants that friends of mine own and or work or my favorite places. I’m here by myself. I was very nicely welcomed at the door by two people. One the “host “as she was seating a couple in front of me and then another girl came along after her who happened to be my server who is extremely nice and very attentive. I told her I her I was in need of a large glass of wine. She said we have 6oz or 9oz. Love choices! I told her I was very impressed with the menu as it seemed everything could be done gluten free. She agreed. I ordered the tacos, they are soo good, love the side of lazy Mexican street corn... wait I wanted Asian food. I had completely forgot about that. The perfect amount of different flavors in the tacos was fabulous. I don’t always enjoy how messy tacos can be if they are stuffed and too hard to eat. All in all I had a lovely experience. I never write reviews but felt compelled this time. Rebecca my server just made me feel comfortable from the beginning and I had a very enjoyable experience especially after wanting something initially then forgetting all about it. My husband and I will be back soon for sure. The only downside I can say was my first glass of wine was not very cold but I didn’t mind so much because of the lovely service.
