This is the worst insurance I've seen and I'm older than dirt. Don't sign up! They promised hearing aids were covered to get me to sign up and then refused to cover them even though their own notes verified I was told they were covered. "Bait and switch". I had another promise of coverage on surgery that was not fully covered. The service is terrible.

Less than ZERO star. 40+ minutes wait just to get a body on the phone every time. Can't even get a flu shot at the grocery store, was told I had to go to a dr. office. No Thanks

Can I give zero stars? An utter disgrace! I'm generally pretty healthy, and rarely need to visit the doctor, but in January I had flu like symptoms & a severe upper respiratory infection. I visited Utah Health Clinic (which was in-network when I signed up with Molina in November through the marketplace) to get tested for influenza. Surprisingly, the test showed negative. After the symptoms failed to clear up, I went back again in February and didn't fully recover till late March. I now suspect this was an early case of COVID-19, but they weren't testing for it back then. I paid my copay like normal, but in March, I saw that there was an unpaid balance from my visits, so I called Molina and they assured me I didn't need to worry about anything, and that their payment would be processed. They also added my Doctor from Utah Health Network as my Primary Care Physician. In April, I was notified by Utah Health, again, that I had an unpaid balance. I thought this was odd for routine visits to the clinic, so I called Molina a second time. This time, they told me that it's because my services were billed incorrectly, but they would push back to Utah Health Network & ask them to resubmit correctly. Utah Health Network resubmitted the claims, and I was under the impression that this was taken care of. The last week of July I get a letter from the State Attorney General's Office stating my account had been referred to them for collections. Completely shocked, I called Molina AGAIN, but it took 4 calls & two days to get someone on the phone. Molina told me this time that my claims were unpaid because my services needed prior authorization, but couldn't tell me what services they were billed for. So, I called Utah Health again to find out what they were billing for. It turns that they billed for simple office visits. They didn't even bill Molina for the flu test. I then called Molina a 4th time with Utah Health Network on the line to get everyone on the same page. It took a Supervisor to finally tell me, going on 6 months after my initial visit to the Utah Health Network clinic, that Molina removed Utah Health Network from the covered providers, except for Medicaid customers, on January 1st, of 2020. Why am I only hearing about this the 1st week of August? Remember, they even added my Primary Care Physician from Utah Health Network to my ID in March. I asked what clinics are covered in Utah now since Utah Health is no longer in network. Molina's answer: NONE. Wouldn't this have been nice to know when I signed up for coverage? If I were to describe Molina Healthcare in a few words it would be: worthless coverage, incompetent staff & despicable service. This company needs to be investigated! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!

Moved to Utah and got Molina coverage through Healthcare.gov. The primary care physician they gave me was Palliative care and not in the area. Since I wasn't dying, I called their customer service, they gave me another doctor who was a pediatrician. The office said they had many Molina customers calling thinking they were primary care. Called the customer service again and after 45 minutes of searching the girl found me another who she said she personally verified was a primary care physician. Turned out that she was a runaway youth physician and a clinic. Finally, the customer service incident technician called me one morning at 8am and told me that they had primary care physicians and would find one and call me back in a later in the day. That was 2 weeks ago. No call. Molina has NO primary care physicians in the Salt Lake area at all. So I complained to Healthcare.gov. They are taking peoples money and not providing services. I hope they get what is coming to them. Stay away.....UPDATE to the response from Molina. If you read my review, I already did that 3 times and your Customer Service has yet to contact me, they have my info but the problem is that you are not providing the services in which you are being paid from both private funds and Federal Funds. I will alert my Congressman on this issue.
Its chikis (01/27/2020)
I can’t believe this place. Every time I call it’s a 30-45 minute wait time. I enrolled through healthcare.gov and was supposed to pay my first premium. They never seem to find me in there system. The first time I called I got put on hold for another 30 minutes only to get somebody else not knowing what was going on. It has now been 30 days and I am past my open enrollment. worst experience ever. Now I will have to see if I can qualify for another one. Meanwhile hospital bills pile up. Thanks for “caring” for your customers. What a joke.
