Chase Bank

I was rolling over a 401K into an IRA (still work at the same job they just did away with the 401K program). They were not able to offer a lot of help so I called the online help line did what they advised got the rollover check written to Chase and went to make a simple deposit. They had me so confused I left in tears with my check in hand. Went to the Gahanna location within 5 minutes had the deposit completed with no issues at all. I highly highly recommend the Gahanna branch that will be my go to location moving forward. To clear up the confusion I have a ROTH IRA so I withheld my taxes from my rollover check. They advised me I would be taxed again and get a 10% plenty for withholding taxes. I was not 100% sure why or how the IRS can tax the same money twice. So I choose to keep the check and I am happy I did the other location entered the check in a post tax Roth IRA with no issues. I called and spoke to the branch manager who was very nice and I explained that maybe the 2 people helping were confused about my plans for the IRA account and that's why they offered misguided advice. I just don't want anyone else to feel like I did confused scared and questioning what choice I had made with my future retirement it was awful I am so happy the other branch respected my wishes as a customer and helped me reach my goals without pushing a plan on me I didn't fully understand and didn't want. If you are making retirement choices avoid this location otherwise it is a good location and as long as I have had an account with chase I have had no other complaints.

This place is AWFUL. Everytime I come here it’s a 30/45 min wait in the business line. How unprofessional!

I've had nothing but a positive experience working with this Chase branch at Easton over the past year! My wife and I moved to Columbus from the Dayton area and Anthony Hunt took amazing care of us during our transition (account setup, direct deposit, account consolidation, credit card benefits, etc.) and still services us at the highest level. Being a business owner, there are always a handful of moving pieces to the puzzle. Anthony was able to clearly and effectively explain the benefits of each account type we hold (business & personal) and how we can most efficiently structure our personal bills, savings, business pay roll, and much more. He even called me randomly one day to let me know that my accounts were eligible for a tier upgrade, which saved me money monthly with a decrease in various fees. Anthony has also made himself available after hours to assist us with our never ending needs. If you're looking to a solid bank, but an even better banker, give this man a call!

Wait times are reasonable. Tellers are pleasant.

Extremely rude and unhelpful. Spoke with me like I was an absolute idiot and as I left without the money I went there to withdraw along with a debit card on my Apple wallet that can’t be verified shaking my head, they tell me to have a good day. this place is an absolute joke.
