We went here to get a hamster and hamster supplies. It was so nice to see a staff member pick up a hamster!!!! Their container is open, so guests can play with them. This means they get used to being handled, unlike other big chain stores who leave them in isolation, and untouched.nnSo far we have had lot of luck in hand training our little girl.... Playing with her every day and no biting.nnWe had a long drive to get to this location. When the employee heard about our drive, she gave us an extra box and another cardboard container for transport. So considerate!nnThe staff member knew exactly what food and treats the hamster had been eating when I asked, so I was able to pick up there to make the transition easier.nnWe have had 3 hamsters so far and this was by far my best encounter in purchasing a hamster.

An absolutely horrible place. Do not buy a bunny from here. My sister bought a baby bunny from here two weeks ago and she died last night. When she got the bunny, she was extremely malnourished, you could feel all of her bones and she didn’t gain any weight, although she ate very well. My sister is devastated. It is obvious Petland sold the bunny when she was already in bad health. Do not trust them.

I bought two glofish from here. I looked at the fish and the water was very very dirty. When we went to check out one was already dying so we had to switch fish. When I put fish in the tank with fish still in the bag, the water from petland was green compared to mine. They are still alive at the moment, but one is acting sickly. Please clean tanks! Don’t be the reason they get sick or die!

I went into the Grove City Petland store over Labor Day weekend to grab some shampoo for our two golden retrievers. Stephanie helped me pick out what I should get for my dogs which included the “Good Dog Fur Mist For Him” which is essentially doggie cologne. It may sound booshie, but MY GOODNESS does it smell incredible! Our dogs have never been so soft or smelled so good.nnThanks Stephanie for the help! We will certainly be shopping here again.

The only reason we go there is so my kids can play with the ferrets and the hamsters. The problem with petland is the puppy mill dogs. I got to meet Franklin at 12 week old pug just out of curiosity I asked how much is this pup. They said she'll be right out to tell you, 16 years of being in the car business told me here comes a sales pitch. So another lady comes out gives me the sales pitch because they have to justify the 3300 price tag on Franklin. It's really sad that people would hey that much money for a puppy mill dog that could possibly have respiratory problems all sorts of different genetic problems yeah.
