The Local Table and Tap

The table and tap is on white lake new york. Minutes away from Bethel woods. The food is really good here they have burgers and they also have gourmet selections of seafood, steak, and some really novel combinations . They have a well stocked bar with multiple craft beers on tap as well as some really good local brews. When the weather permits they have deck seating on the water I recommend it if its available. Depending on the server service can be a little slow. Drinks can be slow also. If I'm in a rush I'll usually let the server know and it will usually make service quicker. But there are few choices with food of this quality in the area so I would recommend it if your not in too much of a rush.

This place has the BEST burger maybe I've ever eaten!!! Service was great and our food came out so fast. Really cute spot!

Worst experience at any restaurant ever! We placed a take out order and were told it would be 40 minutes. We then headed over and didn’t receive our food for 1.5 hours after the expected time. There was no service recovery AT ALL. Nothing offered in exchange for our lost time. We got home and there was of course something missing from our order! Oh, and no apology while we waited at the restaurant.nNot only that, but this isn’t an isolated event. We had a long delay with them once before and thought that was an isolated event.nI hate to write negative reviews about local restaurants, but this is really unacceptable! Will never be ordering from here again.

The mushroom ravioli w/ marsala cream sauce and grilled chicken was one of the best things I ever tasted.

Attended The Local Table & Tap yesterday for a late lunch. The food wasn't bad, I had the Whiskey Burger. I asked for it medium (seems the burger was well done, but that was okay.) The Parmesan fries seemed to just be regular fries with Parmesan on top. I would return to give it another try, also wanted to try some of the beers and craft drinks they had. There was a lot of flies outside (because the tables were on the water) They should really light some candles or something out there, because I know I probably consumed at least one bug while eating my burger... good protein.. right?
