Taverna Novo

Did takeout with a classic spaghetti and meatballs. Really flavorful sauce and well seasoned meatballs. Generous portion.nHad the pistachio cheesecake for desert, yummy! Will be returning and exploring the menu.

Thursday night I intended on having a enjoyable dinner with my Mother at Taverna Novo.nInstead, I had an extremely annoying experience. The owner had decided to hold her lecture for her wine class in the front booth. We were seated in the back booth closest to the chef. Rather than listening to the music)which I think was rather good (the 8 seconds max I could hear it) ... I had to listen to the owners EXTREMELY LOUD LECTURE... which lasted throughout our dinner!!! It was OBNOXIOUS! My mother & I could barely hold a conversation. It was beyond rude! The lecture consisted of the owner speaking to her Moscato loving students (yes... also had the pleasure of listening to her students).telling them repeatedly how she’d find them a wine that did not make them “wretch”. I can’t even count the number of times she said wretch... but if it were a drinking game, you’d be hammered. She also loved throwing the word “shit” in there every 3rd sentence.nBeyond Unprofessional & obnoxious!!!nLiza, our waitress was PHENOMENAL!!! The chef was amazing!!! The clam pizza & other dishes were excellent!!!

We called on a whim after reading reviews. We got a reservation for 8pm at the bar. The food was amazing. We will be back.

Best pizza in the Capital Region, hands down. Heard about this place from a friend and it did not disappoint. Seriously though, it was so good we ordered a second Tartufo e Funghi +sausage to take home with us. ud83dude0bnnThe food was delicious and we had the most wonderful experience. Staff were so friendly and genuinely helpful with food and beverage selection.nnWe stopped by early without a reservation hoping to snag a table and they snuck us in. We enjoyed a cozy, delicious meal after an afternoon snowshoeing through SPAC and it was just perfect.nnCannot wait to go back!! Get out and support this great local gem!

We were recently on vacation in Saratoga Springs and went to Taverna Novo for dinner. We loved the pizza and wine so much, that we went back another night during our vacation! We highly recommend Taverna Novo! The food is delicious, service is excellent, and the restaurant has a really nice/down-to-earth feel.
