This was the best take out I have gotten in a long time. The plantain soup was warm and delicious. The chickpeas were amazing with the chips they came with. The parsnip puffs were phenomenal. I was very impressed. The mac and cheese could have been a bit more flavorful but was still good. Can’t wait until we can try this in person!

The hidden gem of Lark Street, literally hiding just behind the corner. Both the vegetarian and the meat-based dishes are good.

I ordered injera with berbere chicken and there's hardly any berbere used in any of the foods on the platter...including the chicken. Interested to see if shiro wat will be added to the menu

Ethiopian food is GOOD.nnI was looking for somewhere to have some in Albany. I was hesitant to go here because of the fusion menu. The Ethiopian food is the real. You don't need the large menu you'll see at a traditional joint because they have the best items already picked out for their menu. I've had some of the fusion but just get the ethiopian food, especially as always the platters. It's the reason you come here.nnGreat bar. Great atmosphere. You can tell the staff is like family and they know the food. Very underrated spot for celebrations.

Amazing brunch! Great flavors & drinks! I went out on a limb & ordered the Cool Mango Bloody Mary & am so glad I did. It was perfection! Might be my new favorite brunch drink as I find typical Bloody Mary's are usually overkill with the horseradish. The staff was so friendly. I really enjoyed the entire vibe of the space. We will definitely be back.
