Dove + Deer

Love this place so much! Having been to the bar it was previously, it's amazing to see the elegant upgrade. Service is always amazing. We love the crispy chicken sandwich. Yes, its a simple choice, but it is done very well and always delicious. We went recently and there was a smoked tuna appetizer served on fresh toasted sour dough slice with fresh tarragon and cucumber and it was to die for. Literally still dreaming about it. The cocktails are well executed as well. And on a personal note, love that it's female run and owned.

Got delivery from here on Friday and was disappointed. Burger and chicken sandwich were sub-par for the price in my opinion and the fries were a bit old. . Chalk a little up to delivery, but when we used to get delivery from City Beer Hall, the quality was higher and it was almost as good as in person. The brussel sprouts were tasty though.

Unpretentious but stylish presentation worked well here. Complex flavors put together in a way that a cautious diner feels comfortable trying. Simple dishes such as the mussels were prepared perfectly and seasoned so they taste familiar but at the same time better than I’ve had in years. (Hint hint get the mussels!) Simple interior and the focus on service also made dining super enjoyable while not being stuffy. Nice place to bring people for quality dining. Not a place for young kids, but hey, more desert for you.

WOW! What a great experience. On New Year’s Eve the party I was with decided to order from Dove and Deer their New Years Eve special which included a huge ribeye, delicious mashed potatoes, a great dessert and much more. Unfortunately, despite the fact that we ordered our steak medium well (I prefer medium rare but the group I was with does not), our steak came rare to medium rare. The group I was with was disappointed (I still thought it was excellent steak haha). I called Dove and Deer to see what could be done. They fully reimbursed me and then some for the steak via gift card before I could even ask. I was very impressed with their dedication to customer service. Thank you Dove and Deer for everything. I can’t wait to come back soon!

Excellent! The food was very tasty, well seasoned, and interesting. The desert was great too, the decor was very pleasant, and the service was stellar. Highly recommend
