The Yard: Hatchet House and Bar

I only had the ice cream, but I absolutely loved it. The woman working behind the bar was very kind, patient, and helpful. The options were extensive so I ended up with 2 different flavors one of which was dark chocolate and it was delightful! A little pricey for the size but where else can you get boozy ice cream? Also loved the swings!

Excellent experience. The staff was very friendly and explained how to throw an axe to a beginner in a very efficient and easy to understand way. Covid precautions were explained and enforced throughout the visit.

It was ok, our instructor wasn't that great but another instructor with another group was. Food and drink options are good and yummy, ice cream was SO DELICIOUS. The wood they used is a lot harder than other axe throwing spots so it was super hard to get the axe to stick so that's really why it's 5 stars. Everything else is awesome and they also have lawn games and outside patio area!

Drinks were all really good and the boozy ice-cream is amazing!!! It's a really good place for drinks.

Loved it here!!! Visited for our one year anniversary and had a blast!!! The bartender was oddly enough from the same area we are from just had a great time service and beer was great!! Would definitely recommend to anyone! We happened to just walk in not ever realizing what they offered we ended up doing a 30 minute axe throwing class, so much fun! How unique!!
