Went here on Super Bowl Sunday. Take out orders were insane yet i sat down and got my drink so fast and the bartender was so professional and relaxed about it even though I could tell she had a million things going on. Nice crowd. Great servicenGreat place to chill and amazing food this is coming from a long time local. Always appreciative of the service and warm company here

This is a must stop place. Amazing food, good drinks. The place is a little small, but overall a great experience. I would recommend any of the Balboa sandwiches! Great place to eat.
Suny Brockport's Men of Color (03/20/2021)
0/10. I walked in and the rude host barely greeted me and the first thing she said was the wait for food is 2 hours. I said no problem as I thought I would sit and wait with a drink, I was told that because I recently turned 21 and my ID was vertical rather than horizontal it was invalid, which is understandable but there was no accommodation just a rude waitress and and even more rude manager. I tried to explain how I have to wait for my road test for a new ID and even had picture of my passport but there was no accommodation not even a simple “I’m sorry is there anything else I can do as you wait for your food for 2 hours?” Keep in mind I am the only person of color in the bar. No one else is being spoken to with such disregard. TERRIBLE customer service, no organization and extremely long wait time. Only three people working and the “manager” was also head chef apparently. No customer should experience anything like this cause a suburban manager does not know how to properly run a business. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

A neighborhood gem dating back to 1929! Sam and staff were very welcoming as we visited for the first time. The menu is varied and our selection was delicious and the portion generous. The bar area appeared to be original, and when not talking to the locals we were entertained by multiple televisions. There is ample parking in a lot behind Barber's Grill, as well as on street parking. I highly recommend Barber's Grill & Tap Room.

Great place to go and feel safe during a pandemic.
