Veritas Recovery

I can not compare it with another place because this has been the only clinic that I have been, but what I can say is that it is an extremely clean place, the nurses are the best they really care about the recovery of the clients as well as the director, very good groups and the workers' members (RAs), they are very friendly and do not judge whatever your situation is, I recommend it to all those who want to live and improve their life. Thanks Veritas and all your workers have saved my life and have been for me the 3 times that I relapsed into my addiction.

I have to Thank every one at Veritas for their support. If your looking for a place to Learn A New Way To Live this is the Place to be. FROM THE NURSES TO THE R/A'S you can just feel the genuine Care and that Matters!!

First and foremost I want to say that the nurses, Chrissy & Anthony, were exceptional nurses and even better human beings!! Chrissy saved my life and I would have left AMA at the beginning if not for her! They deserve 10/5 starsnMy experience in this facility was very up and down. The real problem is that they are not able to address mental health problems AT ALL! I was not able to stay for residential, as I was not welcome to stay after detox, due to their lack of psych care I was being disruptive to the group, which was entirely avoidable since with medication I function without issue. I had come in with prescriptions for my severe ADHD & other issues which they understandably were unable to give me because they were narcotics, but I had disclosed my conditions before coming and was told they would be able to provide a psych evaluation, ti explore alternative meds that they could give me. I was struggling every minute that I was there and begging to see psych, or even just my counselor, I didn’t see psych until day 7 of 10, and saw my counselor only 3 times after I met her on day 4. There was an overall lack of communication and consistency among the staff, but there are some good people and the facility was not that bad, it was just very difficult to feel ignored when you are crying for help and treated as an inconvenience. Most of the RA’s are really amazing people and I wish I could apologize for taking out my issues on them, because I know most of them do everything within their power to help.
