It's ok
I enjoyed the 25% off a $50+ purchase. Items were ready once I got to store. Items were not charged until I confirmed what I needed. IE: I did not like a piece of driftwood the sales person picked out. He kindly took it back and allowed me to pick out the best one for my new aquarium.
Was directed right away to the item I needed. Which made it a quick visit. Another register opened up as soon as a line formed. Store even smelled good . Which tells me the staff is cleaning often.
The Pheasant Lane Mall Petco is by far the best chain pet store location from here to Boston as I have been to most of them. The staff knows more about reptiles than normal and has a better selection.
Although they have a fantastic selection of supplies and pets, the customer service in the evenings is next to awful. You can stand there all night and nobody will ask if you need help like every other petco ever, you have to make rounds around the store to get help. We had to break up a conversation between every employee in the store just to get some help after standing in the same spot NEXT TO EMPLOYEES for 30+ minutes.
