This is an epistle but it’s hard to fully describe how much this place has helped me. I came to the Ketamine Wellness Centers begrudgingly at the request of my family and friends because, after nearly 3 dozen med trials and a few other failed treatment modalities, I was entirely dejected. I wanted to show them this, too, was going to fail and I was just one step closer to being able to give up fully. To me, excuse the hyperbole, my TRD was not only chronic and pervasive, it was down right terminal. After just over a year and a half of infusions at KWC, however, I’ve been able to get back into an exercise program, eating better, playing my instruments, and am starting to look for part time work after 8 years of not being able to. All of those being things I never thought possible, especially my instruments that I hadn’t played in 7+ years. This year has been challenging, and yet I’ve been able to endure, perhaps even thrive, thanks to KWC. No, the infusions aren’t a cure all (and they’re expensive thanks to bureaucratic nonsense with the FDA and insurance companies) but ask my providers if they see a change due to the ketamine and they’ll say yes. And KWC, in particular, has been pivotal in my growth. They are one of just a couple clinics that have always treated me as a human and with respect. The 1:1 care and the compassion from every person there allows me to come in on months my depression says otherwise.

Simply put, Ketamine Wellness Centers has saved my life. I was at the end of my rope dealing with chronic nerve pain due to Complex Regional Pain Syndrome when I found KWC and I’m so glad I did. They have been phenomenal to deal with from the very first step. They are kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. I am able to live an enjoyable life again due to the infusions I receive. And I look forward to seeing the people there every time I go. I also love the all of the patient support they provide. I have waited almost 6 months to write my review. This organization has been nothing but full of compassion, professionalism, medical skills and medical knowledge, and integrity. If you have already decided to try Ketamine then this is the place to go. If you have not decided to use Ketamine yet, then my story may bring some comfort to your decision to start. I have a spine disease which has caused me to injury easily and after 30 years of nursing I had organic back problems. My issues are mostly related to nerve problems, I have had this disease my entire life. I spent 10+ years on/off medications (pain, nerve, sleep ect) and I am happy to report that I have used Tylenol and muscle relaxers and nerve medication very limited since reaching my Ketamine maintenance dose. I have not worked since 9/2017 and now (2/19) am happy to report I am going back to work. Ketamine has diminished the frequency of my several nerve pains by 90%+ and the intensity of the pain (when I rarely have it) has diminished by 75%. I fortunately have not been diagnosed with depression or anxiety, but the Ketamine has greatly improved my disposition and attitude. I have also found the Ketamine to have a spiritual side; its difficult to explain, but I am convinced that our souls live on! The experience can be a bit scary at first, but just relax and let Ashley and Chris do their nurse jobs. These nurses are comforting, professional and very knowledgeable. You are in great hands.

I noticed a difference in the relief of my pain the very next morning after my first treatment. I’m thinking more clearly, and feeling very optimistic about my future! The staff at KWC is very friendly and supportive.

I have been suffering from PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder for 45 years. I have tried many antidepressants that never seemed to last. I have been in and out of programs and hospitals over the years. Nothing really lifted the hurt and pain of depression. My ketamine treatments have been a life changing event for me. I have had 6 months of treatments and the staff at the Ketamine Wellness center in Burnsville have been so kind and professional. I no longer think about ending my life. My depression has become manageable and I am doing things I could not do before. I highly recommend that if you suffer from depression that has lasted a long time with no real relief from it, try ketamine. I am so glad that I gave it a try because I am managing my life well for the first time.
