I took my new 6 month old toy poodle here to be groomed and the groomer did a wonderful job. My little guy was skittish of the shears I used at home so felt he needed the professional touch till he is accustomed to the grooming process. The team here should compassion to my concern with my new pup and seems like my little guy did well to the whole experience. I would recommend this team for grooming and their prices are fair for the time they commit to our pups looking good.

About a month ago I came to pick up my dog from grooming and when we pulled up one of the employees had opened the door and a young husky ran out into the parking lot and then an employee chased said husky and it ran out onto 700 e and was hit immediately and died on impact. It was a horrible experience to watch and so heartbreaking. I then come to see if they ever said or did anything and I read another review saying two weeks ago they let another patrons dog roam the lobby with no leash and it got out as well. You cannot let dogs into an open lobby with no leash when people come and go on a busy street! You need to have better protocols to ensure any dog not in the play facility are leashed and secured so that nobody else loses their beloved pet. Don’t let your dog die due to incompetence.

I boarded my two dogs here for a total of 5 days. I had never boarded them before and was a little nervous. We stopped by for a 10-15 minute temperament test. My 4 month old puppy had some normal nervous aggression which made me more nervous. The staff reassured me they knew how to handle it and would make sure he and the other dogs were safe and comfortable. I called a couple times to check on them and everyone there was more than happy to make sure I knew they were happy and safe. They returned to us freshly bathed and in good shape! Very grateful for The Dog Zone and the care they gave my babies while I was away!

The last time I came to pick up my dogs, they were just let free to run around the lobby while I was still signing the bill. Well, one of my dogs(a puppy) easily pushed their front door open and ran out. He could've easily ran out onto 700 e. I would strongly recommend changing policy on how dogs are checked in/out. Make sure they are leashed and in the owners custody before letting them into the lobby.
