I go here all the time! I like the staff and they are always nice. I work in the healthcare field and I like to see some joking around and happiness! They are always friendly and kind. Great group of people! Will always come back here

There were some bad apples that worked there but I have to say they cleaned house and everything is as it should be with the staff and facility. I was just there and my interaction and transaction was beyond pleasant....The Waukegan location is very professional and donor friendly now so if you haven't been in a while I suggest you give it a go... Beautiful and friendly staff,Good job guys.

The staff here are very slow, disorganized and have bad attitudes. They do not answer the telephone. I will be in the waiting area observing the staff just meandering around while gossiping loudly when the phone will be ringing with back to back calls but no one will pick up. I have been treated and spoken to so poorly by staff here that has prompted me to speak about it with the center's management staff to address the issue just to be treated the same way by the management. I've called the center's corporate office to address the issues and not only was I told in so many words to have a thicker skin when I go to the center and was not shown much concern but their own policy for anonymity of the caller is broken because during the call with corporate office I was told that I needed to verify my name and phone number so I can get a return call from a member of their staff that handles the complaints for the company there at the corporate office and none of my identifiable information would ever be seen by the center staff. Imagine going to the center and being side eyed, whispering and parts of the conversation that I had with the corporate staff quoted back to me during check in process that directly corosponds with the exact words that I used in my complaint. After a period of time where I didn't go because of the bad treatment and now hostility where I wasn't feeling safe I returned after I felt like there had been a sufficient amount of time for the staff to change over it was verified that my identifiable information had in fact been given to the center manager with the complaint and then was told to the other center staff. I overheard one of the staff members quote exactly one of the five star reviews that I read here online . Staff members should not be posting positive reviews here online about themselves to boost the ratings BUTsince they were allowed to donate when COVID-19 hit if they were infected and recovered the staff was asked to then donate their plasma also so I guess technically they were donors but it's deceiving to real donors when the staff reviews themselves.

I went to Talecris for over two years and was even a VIP donlor for donating over 100 times in a year. Most employees were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. However, after questioning an offered reward for donations, I was banned for simply asking a question, even without being told so by the person banning me and management. Feeling I was wronged, I took my complaint to higher authorities within their corporate struture. After initially being responsive, they handed down a lifetime ban without allowing me to question my accusers, which I know would have exposed the hippocracy. Even years after I have tried to donate and have been told that it is a lifetime ban. I really felt wronged and didn't agree with their decision not to let me question my accusers!
