Kindred Hospital Sycamore

Everyone was very nice to me at Kindred Sycamore my stay went very well. The staff is very caring and very sweet. Everyone is friendly and takes time to say hello when they walk by your room. The nurses and aides are very compassionate people. The rehab team were great along with respiratory staff. The food was good too and they gave me all the ice cream I could eat! If that isn’t the best what more can a person ask for! Thank you to everyone at Kindred!nnLorraine

I was quite pleased with my stay at Kindred Sycamore the staff were competent and very friendly. The food was excellent no complaints! My stay went as well as it could for a hospital stay and I healed well. I have to say better than the last couple places I’ve been too in the last couple of years. I highly recommend Kindred for wound care.nnDean.

My stay at Kindred went very well. The staff were very caring and knowledgeable they took very good care of me and made sure my needs were met! Turns out I’ve even painted some of the staffs homes, small world. You never know when you’ll meet up with someone and the shoes on the other foot this time. I highly recommend Kindred within 2 weeks I was on my way back home! I’m so happy I can’t thank the staff enough. Rehab kept me going and the nurses and aides were great!

When I came to Kindred I can’t remember very much other than being very sick with the COVID-19 virus. My family was very worried about me especially my wife. Thanks to the wonderful caring nurses and CNAs at Kindred they got me back to feeling better. I’m able to somewhat feel like a person again. Thanks to the Respiratory therapist for all their support and to rehab for pushing me to get out of bed no matter how weak I felt. We are one of those who have been hit the hardest by the current circumstances of COVID. When my husband Noel’s condition made a sudden turn down south. From intubation, blood clots to myocardial infarction, tracheostomy, peg tube and paralytics, our small family of 3, was really shaken hard. One of the best decisions stood out, when I chose Kindred Hospital for my husband's continuity of care. Their pulmonary rehab was exemplary. His doctors, especially Dr. Nguyen’s group for their dedication and bravery have not gone unnoticed. To all the courageous and admirable nurses, respiratory therapists, patient care assistants who are working tirelessly in caring for my husband in the time of his urgent medical needs. To the amazing PT/OT/ Speech therapy team, Dietary, Tina of Patient Services, Case Management… I want to thank each and every member of Kindred for your unwavering dedication and commitment to serving others. You all served a purposeful work in an institution that bind God’s love and continue to make a difference in people’s lives.
