Charged $112 for tailoring and wasn't notified until after my card was swiped. Stores were closing, it was the last day I could order a decent suit before my wedding. Very frustrated. Then the suit was delivered a full week after the salesman promised. This lead to dinner plans with a friend that traveled from out of state getting canceled and was exacerbated be the fact that they completely forgot to sew the buttons on the sleeves. This was two days before the wedding. Although they did offer to rush order the buttons, I really couldn't trust them anymore at that point. I contacted the national help line and, frankly, no one I talked to could help me. I don't blame the representatives for this, I blame a poorly structured national chain for chopping knees out from under their customer service. No discount. No refunds. No store credit. Not even a coupon or an apology. I will never be a repeat customer of this branch or this chain again.
After shopping around for french cuffed dress shirts at Macy's, Dillard's, and Jc Penny I checked Jos A Bank. Their color selection was limited but the prices were very reasonable. They also offer custom made shirts, in an array of colors and patterns, at a lower price than Dillards french cuffed shirts of which there were only two colors($80 & $100).
The shirts I purchased fit me better than any dress shirt I've worn. I left the store with three french cuffed shirts, a top coat, and two sport coats for $300, an amazing deal with fantastic quality.
I usually have had very good experiences in the past. My last two visits were disappointing. I was ready to buy and the salesman did not seem interested in making sale or showing respect. Another store associate attempted to save the sale, but did not have experience. I am taking my business elsewhere.
Helpful staff, willing to help any way they can. Not a lot of big and tall offerings outside of custom, but still a great place for quality clothing.
I'm extremely pleased with my experience at Jos A. Bank in Murray, Utah. I needed a suit for my nephew last minute and they were able to provide a wide selection, order the suit and get it tailored in timely manner! All for a great price!
