Great store for pet and gardening supplies.nThey have reasonably priced oxbow hay and millet. Also a great selection of dog treats.nThey can test your soil and then recommend what to do to optimize your garden. Many racks of seeds to choose from to start your garden. I’ve never had a problem with getting the seeds to sprout.nStaff are friendly and helpful. They can help load larger items into your vehicles if you ask.nLeashed well behaved dogs are welcome at this location.

Love these folks. They are incredibly beyond-the-norm helpful. During the pandemic, we’ve used their curbside pickup to get all the yard/garden stuff to keep our property looking good each season. Every time I call, I am given someone’s full attention, just like I would be inside the store. That’s something I appreciate, since I’ve got health issues that put me in a high risk category...yet am still a “real” customer.nThis very morning, I had a hundred questions about materials for a garden winterizing project and I apologized for taking so much of the customer service person’s time. She said to me, “It’s totally okay. I’m here for you.” Oh, lovely, you had me at “It’s totally ok.” Lol. It’s such a simple thing and yet it means so much to me. Thank you so much, Ellington Agway!!!

I would highly recommend the Ellington Agway service department. They did an exceptional job servicing my John Deere mower. They evaluated the issue, obtained needed replacement parts, even working from a donated engine all while keeping us informed on the status of the repair. This is going above and beyond with exceptional customer service, all while dealing with the uncertainty and hardship of a pandemic. They even loaned us a mower to be able to cut our lawn while waiting. Can’t say enough about the positive experience!

After an awful experience at another lawnmower dealer I stopped in at Ellington Agway.nI should have stopped here to begin with. They explained everything to me. I ended up getting a better mower and for a better price.nSince mine won’t be ready for a day or so they immediately brought a loaner to our house for us to use in the meantime and will swap them when mine is ready.nThis is how it should be.nThanks for all your help!

Dropped off my s t h i l Backpack Blower yesterday for a no-start condition. Upon handing over the equipment they asked for a $50 deposit. I never heard of anything like this but I needed the blower fixed. Today they called saying it was ready. The no-start condition was because it was flooded. When I arrive I asked them to show me how to start the blower. Found out that I was choking the blower rather than have it in the Run position. Went into the shop to pay expecting to get some refund from the $50 deposit. Fellow behind the counter pointed to the wall where there was a sign stating $50 minimum charge. Essentially it cost me $50 to have them tell me it was flooded. Over the years I have spent many thousands of dollars on equipment purchase from them. Needless to say I will never return to their store ever again.
