Arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early and let them know I arrived as we could not enter the building until they were ready. I then proceeded to wait in my car for an hour calling them two times, both times waiting over 5 minutes for an answer. I then left, and they called me telling me to come in. I was only two minutes away so I turned around and they called me again asking where I was and I told them I had already waited an hour so I had left and was on my way back within 2 minutes. She hung up on me. I then get inside the building and waited another 20 minutes for my name to be called. The nurse finished all my intake and then took me to the actual office of a doctor that my appointment was not even supposed to be with instead of an exam room and told me he would be in soon. I then waited for 45 minutes for this doctor who was rude and talked to me for 5 minutes and left. Do not recommend this place at all. Terrible customer service.

My wife was Dr. Hensarling's patient. She is a very nice doctor, and I strongly recommend her. The reason I gave one star to this clinic is the clinic itself. Today, my wife had a bad health condition, and they said a nurse will call me back soon, but nobody called me. Then, I called them and, they said I need to pay a missed bill ($195), otherwise they will not make appointment. Probably, because of this reason the nurse didn't call me. So far, my wife's health insurance company paid thousands dollar and I paid thousands dollar to them out of pocket. It is not acceptable that they don't make appointment since a patient missed a bill. As far as I understand, patients = money for them.

I called to make an appointment 4 months in advance like a responsible individual. Throughout my 26 years of life, I have been able to make appointments at dentists, dermatologists, and ob/gyns in advance. The front office lady’s tone was very short and she seemed irritated. I asked make an appointment and clarified I would be a new patient. I told her I would need to book the appointment in June for insurance purposes. She said they are not accepting any new patients until February 15th and to call back closer to June. I asked if she recommended any other practices in the area. She said, “I don’t know. Google it.” She then proceeded to hang up on me. Through my recent research. This is the only one of the few practices in the East Alabama area, therefore; Lee Obstetrics has a monopoly and women have no other choice but to use them, unless they want to travel to Birmingham or Montgomery. This experience motivates me to advocate for better women health facilities in the area. I thought we were past this, but apparently quality medical care in rural areas is still an issue.

Absolutely horrified. I received a consultation for an IUD and was told that they would call me to let me know when my insertion was scheduled, since I was already on my period. It has been three days and everytime I call to talk to someone I go to voicemail or the phone is picked up and promptly put back down. Can't believe this!

I have had multiple problems with this office and the Opelika office. They just do not answer the phone, you're their for hours for an appointment, bad customer service, I could go on! But this last one was just it for me. I am a new mother, I don't know what I'm doing and they have not been very clear on anything from the start. But I had a gender scan scheduled for yesterday, they called me 30 minutes before my appointment to tell me the machine is broken and the wont be able to get me in today, that they may be able to get me in Friday, but they were not sure. My gender reveal is scheduled for this weekend so I'm obviously upset. They did not seem to care much at all and had no answer for me to get one done elsewhere. I asked if I could just go to the Opelika office, but nope, can't do that either because the day before and yesterday was double booked. So they knew the machine was broke an entire day before calling me. I called everywhere trying to find something. Luckily BabyWave in Columbus was able to get me in before close and only charged me $50. They saved the day and I was able to check on my precious avocado baby. I decided to change doctors, called Dr. Obeicwe's office, I was answered immediately and I have an appointment NEXT WEEK. Took 5 minutes. WOW! That is impossible with Lee OBGYN.
