This spot is my favorite. I visit a lot of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very cordial and the cuisine they cook is so flavorful. I am always happy to have a nice meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Excellent social distancing, limited menu as expected in these times, the salads were excellent, the fried clam appetizer delicious. Overall as pleasant as can be expected in these new times. And again, a safe feel to the dining in experience.
The drinks were wonderful, and the service superb! But I was left very disappointed by the main entree. While having Anna's Baked Boston Scrod, I couldn't stop thinking about how I was reminded of a fancy high school lunch. The Scrod itself was alright, nothing to write home about. But the rice and green beans served with it were flavorless.nnStill, I'll come back for another Old Fashioned!
As infrequently we come here it was really nice to be recognized as a 'regular'. What I mean by that is the greeting of our bartender/server was more of a 'hey how have you been' vs hi never seen you before chatter. Jeff recognized us even though it's been quite awhile since we have been there. It was really nice to have a conversation with him when we usually can't because the bar is so busy. Thanks Jeff!
last night was the first time we came to that magnificent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the exceptional food and wine and with the comfortable price. We will definitely return there again.
