Saks OFF 5TH

If I could give 0 stars I would but I want everyone to read this review, I don’t write reviews but I went to this store today and was trying to purchase a Valentino purse which is in a locked section you have to call a rep to unlock it which is what I did, she was checking out several other customers at the time so I waited 5 minutes and told her again the she said she would send someone, another rep walked and started checking out other customers on the other register all while I was waiting for a rep to unlock the purse, they were looking at me the entire time so it’s not like they forgot I was there or I had asked for help several times. That’s not even what made me mad, 20 minutes passed so I just started walking by the store and checking out other purses and they supposedly have a section that I walked into that I wasn’t suppose to where they have Gucci purses etc and now the lady at register screamed at me and said “you can’t go in there get out of there” in front of everyone and insulted me remind you there wasn’t a sign or nothing outside, then I got upset that I am trying to buy a $500 purse and they are treating me like this but I ended up buying it anyways so I can get somebody’s attention that I was a good client that they lost. Never go into this Saks please.

I’ve been shopping with Saks.com, Saks 5th Ave and Saks Off 5th for at least 10 years. Always enjoyed going there, especially my wife who really love the high quality selection and amazing prices. Never had any customer service issues ever.... until our last visit to this store. We’ve shopped here probably 5-6 times, since moving to Sugar Land last year and never made any returns or had any issues. Last week my wife wanted to return an unworn pair of shoes and the cashier staff refused. No refund or exchange offered, flat out refused to hear why she wanted to return it and claims it’s been worn and damaged by us! Absolutely unacceptable. We’ve shopped with Amazon, Zappos, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, other Saks stores, Dillard’s, HomeGoods, for goodness sakes even dollar stores would never refuse a return. We purchased it 5 days ago, well within the return time frame, with original box, price tags and receipt. Of course my wife tried on the shoes, that shouldn’t mean we “wore” and “damaged” the shoes. Unbelievable.

Nice place. Clothes is a more pricey, but it is good quality clothes.

I made a in-store return of an item I purchased online from Saks off 5th through Paypal at the Sugarland location while I was in town. My return was processed by a woman named Norma on Feb 6, 2021. I reached out to their corporate Customer Service line because I never got notification from Paypal that received a return initiation from Saks off 5th. At other places where I used Paypal to purchase, I have either received cash or had the balance returned to my card. I always received notification when the item was processed for return, in this case, the notification would have come on Feb 6 or the following business day. On Feb 12, 2021 I called the corporate office and they said they had to reach out to the store. I called the store and spoke to Krystal, who I assume was Krystal Hall, the store manager listed on the receipts. I first asked her how they process Paypal returns to see what the process is. Then I explained my problem. She said they have been having issues with processing Paypal returns. I asked her why they didn't just give me cash when I came in if this is an ongoing issue... She started placing the blame on Paypal and that there was nothing she could do because I couldn't come in store (I live in Corpus Christi). Beware that Saks off 5th is processing transactions through Paypal despite the ongoing issue of them not being able to properly return the items.

I think store should be open later then 6pm. People like to shop after work being open only till 6 you are losing sales and customers. it makes no sense..
