Yikes. Love the Taverna in Houston but this location did not meet my expectations. I just wanted a nice lunch with friends but it felt like we were being watched by the managers. Our waiter was so helpful and nice but management didn’t give the same vibe. Food didn’t have much flavor and honestly don’t plan on visiting again.
Typically I would rave about the food… Which was FANTASTIC by the way. But in this case, let’s talk about Carolina(pronounced CarolEEEna). I came in with two colleagues a couple of weeks ago and have been wanting to write this review ever since!! Not only was her service impeccable and attentive, but she was an absolute doll. She is the number one reason I will be returning for lunch time at Taverna.
We been there before, always good but the cherry on top we just went February 17 Snowmageddon. Food was amazing. They were closing at 8pm but as long as you were on the list 7:59pm they would seat and serve you. Our server Eric was also awesome very nice and knowledgeable about the menu.
