Short sit in ER. Attentive nurses while in ER. Doctor sat with me and explained exactly what was going on and made sure I understood. It was clean. It’s be far the best hospital and ER to go to in Chattanooga. 5 stars every day. They have taken care of so many of my relatives and friends over the years...I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Brought my wife to the Main Memorial ER on Sunday March 21 with severe shoulder pain. Dr. Whitman came in and said that he would start running test and do a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia and labs. Mynwife tells him she thinks she has pulled a muscle or a pinched nerve. She told him back in January that she had a full work up done on her Heart and everything was good. Spent over 4 hours in the ER and after all test come back good on her Heart, he says I don't doubt you havenpain, but there is nothing more I can do for you in the ER. We don't treat shoulders in the ER. You would have to follow up with an orthopedic. How did he no that she didn't have a broken bone in her shoulder, he never x-rayed it or felt of it. We came home with the same pain that she came in with..... pamphlets for shoulder pain and heart and 10 pain pills. Went to Center for sports Monday morning and the first thing the nurse said was that they were going to repeat the x-rays. We told here that Memorial never x-rayed my wife shoulder..... she said the same thing we said after we left Memorial. We could have saved a lot of Money and went to a walk in Clinic and got the same thing done. It was fine if they needed to do the workup on her heart... but should have addressed her shoulder.nI WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL!!!!

I have no problems with the Emergency Room, but it's the ER Doctor group they contract with that participates in surprise billing. The ER Doctor is probably OUT OF NETWORK, by choice to drive up profits. Expect a balance bill from the Doctor after your insurance has paid.

My father was sent to the ER for a psychiatric evaluation because of a dangerous incident that happened at his living facility.nJared Kaminsky was dismissive, confrontational, and aggressive. He refused to sign a psychiatric evaluation for my father or speak to any of the witnesses of the incident. My father suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. His medications had changed recently and he was not handling it very well. For the past month he had been hallucinating and not sleeping good. The hallucinations ultimately got so bad that he was frightened and an incident occurred.nHis living facility would not let him come back without the evaluation, per protocol for his safety as well as the staff and residents. Jared Kaminsky did not care. He tried to make me feel like I was a horrible person. He told me my father was fine and needed to go home.nI was honestly shocked that he thought it was okay to let an elderly man, who was obviously in a deep psychosis, leave the ER without any mental health intervention.nIf you or a loved one is admitted to the ER and Jared Kaminsky, DO is working.. leave! Go to another ER, which is what I was advised to do by many professionals I spoke to on the phone when Jared and his nurse were trying to get us discharged quickly. Even a colleague of his commented that he was obviously not trained to correctly handle mental health situations.nI will never bring my father to Memorial again. My job as his POA is to make sure that he gets the best care available. My father deserves the best and I will go above and beyond to make sure that happens!

I just recently spent the last 2 weeks in memorial hospital due to a drug reaction that caused a drug induced liver injury. From the time I arrived at the ER to the time I left I felt as if I was in excellent care. They have a wonderful team of doctors, hospitalist, nurses, cna techs, and all around staff that truly showed they cared about me and my health. Due to covid, I could only have one visitor but I was thankful my husband was able to stay with me the entire time. I want to shout out to a few of the people that really stood out to me: Muller, Patel, Sarah, Destin, Michelle, Tracy, Nicole, Dawn, Laura, Sarah, Smitts, Mitsy, Tom, Cha, Lala. Thank you all for taking such good care of me and showing true compassion.
