I had to take my 9 year old to the ER for something that wasn't life-threatening, but needed immediate attention. The nurses, techs, and physicians were wonderful- fast, attentive, and great with kids. Registration was done in the room and only took a few minutes. I'm very thankful for a great staff and my healthy child.

My 2 year old daughter's pediatrician told me that I needed to take my daughter to the Children's ER after she started running 105.6 fever. Erlanger Children's ER did nothing for her besides get her fever down. They did not do any bloodwork. She would not cooperate with opening her mouth and they were fine with that. I was told they would not do a strep test on her because they would not treat it at her age anyway. They said she looked fine and it was probably just a virus and would run its course. This was a Thursday (July 30, 2020) and they said that if by Monday she was still running a high fever, she needed to see her pediatrician. I did not listen to this because she was absolutely miserable and I took her in to see her doctor the next day. Her white blood count was extremely high and she had an extremely bad urinary tract infection. She had to have a strong antibiotic shot and her bloodwork redone the next day. She is finally feeling better several days later, but I hate to think what could have happened to her if I had listened to the doctor in the ER and waited until Monday to take her in to her pediatrician.

Awesome stay here at Erlanger Children Hospital. Came in for a video EEG on my son. The staff was amazing. Made sure we had everything we needed. Checked in on us every hour, even during the night. Discharge was a quick process. Check in was quick even with us arriving 1.5 hours early. They just took us right in and made us feel at home.

Had fantastic care for our daughter today from start to finish! Our provider John Appel was so kind and caring and very thorough. The nursing staff and everyone else were top notch. We have nothing but good things to say about our visit today.
