Polkadog Bakery - Seaport

I went in this morning to get food for my 5lb toy poodle. My dog was with me, we decided to grab a bag of chicken and grains food (we have already tried a sample). The sales lady mentioned a sale - buy 1 get 1 free. She only had 1 bag of the small breed and kept insisting that I take another regular bag. This was terrible advice because small breed food have smaller kibbles which prevents a small breed dog from choking. Regular food contains regular size kibbles for a regular sized dog. It was obvious she just wanted me to take what was available in the store even if it meant my puppy would choke.nnI asked her if she could order me another bag of the small kibble and she mentioned that the store already made their orders for the week. I asked her if she could get it from another store and reluctantly she made the call and the other store had it in stock.nnI left the store with just 1 bag and was told that someone would contact me once the other bag from the other store arrives.nnBecause of the terrible service she provided, I highly doubt that an order was placed and I know there will be some complications when I return to grab the other bagnnBefore leaving, I asked for the store’s phone number and she told me to check on google. She then wrote the number down and handed me my receipt.nnWhile I was in the store, another gentleman walked in with his dog, not wearing a mask and she gave him excellent customer service

I love this place as much as my dog does. Love the variety and quality product.

Knowledgeable staff and great selection

We went here on the opening night and had a blast! Great addition to the Polkadog family. Best dog treats in the Boston area, very helpful staff and always very friendly to our pup. 100% would recommend.
