0 stars if I could.nnI had to wait 2 weeks for prenatal visit and ultrasound. When talking to the receptionist I was put on hold 4-5 times and waited 30 minutes to even start to see when they had an opening. When I got there with my daughter I was told she couldn’t even be in the waiting room and that it was my fault that I have no one who can watch her while I came for my visit. The people I talked to were so unprofessional and rude. Look for a new OB/GYN and avoid this place.

DO NOT GO HERE. There are plenty of doctors in Boston I can guarantee anywhere else you go will provide better services than this place. I have had nothing but poor experiences with this practice. First off, I was supposed to have a full anatomy ultrasound here that was not completed by the technician and was required to get one with my new doctor when I moved to a new state a month later. However, I was still charged almost $400 for the ultrasound even though it was not completed and when I called to dispute this charge the woman I spoke with was very unprofessional and rude and told me I have to pay for it anyway. I also had quite a few issues with my doctor. Dr. Kovacs made me feel comfortable at first, but my high praises for her were quickly crushed. First off, I had to leave the practice mid pregnancy because I was moving to a different state and once she knew I would no longer be seeing her it became apparent she does not really care about her patients. After multiple times trying to contact her in the interim, I finally was able to receive test results after three weeks that I should have received in no more than a week. Not to mention I found out later she prescribed me an oral medication (twice!!) that is dangerous for pregnant women to take and the FDA classifies as a class D medication for pregnant women. She made me feel like I was incompetent and basically laughed at me any time I had (valid) concerns about my pregnancy and never got back to me about certain concerns after multiple times of trying to contact her through the patient portal and even calling the office. This practice also charges you to have your medical records sent to any other doctor. How ridiculous I have never heard of that before!! Paying to have your own medical records sent somewhere?? Not to mention they don’t tell you that you have to pay and I was unable to schedule an appointment with my new doctor for 6 weeks because I was unaware that my records wouldn’t be sent over until I paid the fee, so I missed 2 appointments during my pregnancy because of this. Overall, this entire practice is very difficult to deal with. The employees are rude, unprofessional, and extremely unwilling to help you. I beg you to go somewhere else so you don’t have to go through the same awful experiences that I did.

Dr Morais is the best! Office staff is friendly, always trying their best to accommodate last minute appointments.

Dr. Poley is absolutely amazing. I got a pap smear with her and she made me feel so comfortable and safe, while being very efficient. I was also assisted by an amazing nurse (unfortunately I can't remember her name!) who was personable and friendly. The nurse really helped ease my nerves about the entire process. However, the admin team did forget to actually send my prescription over to my pharmacy afterwards, which is why I've taken off two stars.

I've been receiving prenatal care at this clinic and I am very satisfied. My OB is professional, warm, thorough and quick to respond to any of my inquiries that arise outside of our appointments. The support staff is considerate, kind, and continuously goes above and beyond to show their vested interest in my life: both personally and from a health standpoint. In an increasingly impersonal world, SMG Women's Health has a tangible sense of community and support.nnScheduling is straightforward. I subtract one star for the same reason I'd subtract one star from any medical office experience: they occasionally run behind. The quality of care more than makes up for the extra 10 minutes I may spend in the waiting room.
