Extremely unprofessional staff that are rude with the exception of a couple helpful employees.

They can’t have stuffed animals, or visitors even though I was told 1 visitor per patient a day. On top of that the staff was rather rude and kept interrupting my every sentence. Never sending anyone there EVER again

Had a great experience there

I was in this psychiatric hospital about a month ago majority of the staff are rude there was about three staff members who actually cared what is sad is two of them or techs not even nurses and they cared more than the nurses had one nurse that actually cared and showed empathy there may have been one other nurse who was on the border of nice and rude they gave me the wrong medication had me falling I bounce my back and head off the floor more than I care to admit I was so messed up they had to send me back down to the emergency department for treatment because they claim they didn't know what was wrong why I was delusional and falling when all it wasn't reality is the medication they were giving me wasn't the one the doctor was prescribing me I knew the cup was Fuller than what it should have been and when I said something I was told that it is medications the psychiatric doctor prescribe me I seen the psychiatric doctor one-time briefly in the emergency department and one time briefly on the floor I want it out of that place it reminded me of jail it was like they had you there you couldn't leave but you weren't getting treatment either I was there for attempting suicide and I can say I didn't even get treated for it I so easily deceive them just to get out of there and seeing the psychiatrist one time after the emergency department he said I was ready to go home I was in that place for 5 days after attempting to take my life by taking a bunch of pills I was there on it involuntarily admit and was still able to get out of there in 5 days I guess it's a miracle you're cured you can leave even though the psychiatrist has talked to you a total of 10 minutes and it wasn't even in private he talked to me sitting at the table in the day area with other patients sitting around so you're not even taking into a private area where you can talk about your problems or anything else he talks to you for a couple minutes briefly and buy that determines whether you get to leave or stay I didn't want to be in there because it was terrible it was dirty it was disgusting you can go to the group's if you want to you don't have to you don't talk about anything they don't talk about why you feel the way you feel nothing at all the psych doctor sees you for a few minutes doesn't ask you why you're feeling how you feel doesn't ask you nothing goes over maybe a couple of the medications and I sat you're either discharged or you're not oh I forgot he came to the room I was in one time when I was out of it and talk to me briefly but I can't remember what about I would recommend if you are going through a mental crisis go somewhere else if you're wanting real treatment if you're trying to get a loved one treatment for their mental problems find a better place there's gotta be one they have my daughter in Lincoln prairie and I have read nothing but bad reviews on that but it's out of our hands because she said she was actively thinking suicide so we couldn't get her into anywhere better it was out of our hands the minute she told the doctor that so my daughter's now 3 hours away from me and that place has terrible terrible reviews why are all these psychiatric care hospitals getting such bad reviews why are they treating people the way they do when people are needing help it's such a terrible thing especially when you can only find one or two staff members that actually care.
