I'm addicted to the mushroom sage soup. They have daily specials, watch their Facebook page for this. My dinner partner was not ready to go inside a restaurant yet, due to the virus pandemic. So I picked up food to go. They were both wonderful. My sister had a heavily veggie Asian dish with chicken and I had the shrimp and scallops over pea mash plus some groovy mashed potatoes with chives. There's an official name for this but it's escaped me right this minute. I travel around the globe, and anytime I'm in Springfield this is my go-to place. Their wait staff is wonderful. I usually ask for Rachel.
This place is like a really nice English pub with a fancy twist. The drinks were tasty and the food was amazing. My wife has celiacs and they could make almost anything available to her. If we lived in the area, this would be a staple for me
The best Britpub in Springfield (Downing Street Pour House is a close second). The halibut fish and chips meal is amazing; when halibut is on special, definitely get it! Slightly more reasonable portion sizes than DSPH, fish and chips are a bit tastier, and a few more nice local beers available. Server today was very knowledgeable and accommodating. A+++
