My awesome girlfriend and I stopped there Sat the 20th while out looking for something to do. The 2 guys behind the bar were amusing and very accommodating and the Chasing Daylight beer was extremely good. Cool atmosphere that had several couches and chairs vice normal bar-style tables and stools. I also got to donate to a local pet charity which was nice.
A comfortable taproom. Great beers. No view but otherwise good.
I've been waiting for years for a good craft brew near DCL. This Short Story location is small but I rolled the dice and got a growler of DIPA (I love a good IPA). The bartender was friendly and helpful. The bar quickly filled up with patronage. I'm impressed and will be back. If covid goes away and they get a bigger location with food, I'll be all about it.
Super friendly service & great brew selection!! Theres a couple picnic tables out front, we sat here in the beautiful sun with 3 doggos and had a wonderful time. They dont have a kitchen but they allow outside food. Cannot emphasize enough how friendly the bartender was, but didn't catch his name. My visit was on 3/5/21
Awesome staff, even better beer, and a really cozy atmosphere. Also, it's located really close to the lake and the ski slopes.nnGreat beer, and they're always adding new ones.
