Doctors Community Hospital

I suffer from extreme health anxiety and the staff at Doctor’s was absolutely amazing. They listened to every concerned, understood my anxiety and the bedside manner was amazing. I am so appreciative of my nurse Stacey S. who went above and beyond for me over and over.

I went to the ER on 7/22 for abdominal pain and was admitted until 7/24/20. I was a little nervous about going there since it was my first time, but I have to say I had a very positive experience. The ER staff (nurses Geaille & Lenox, techs Jacob, PAs Lesly & Taylor & transport), were efficient, fast and explained the process and wait time to me. Once I was admitted, the surgery team was also great in explaining the plan. Dr. Aboagye took his time to answer my questions, and his attending Dr. Amin was excellent in doing the same. He actually pulled up a chair & sat down each time he saw me, to ensure he fully listened & provided clear directions. He also made sure to include me in the plans, so I felt like a part of the decision making. The nurses and staff (Sarah, Wanda, Meski, Diana, Blossom, Janet) on the 4th floor were also excellent in my care and provided great service. Transport service was great as well. When I was finally allowed to eat, the food was surprisingly good for hospital food. Overall, it was a very good stay, better than expected. I wish I remembered everyone’s name, but unfortunately I don’t. It’s hard when you’re sick and at the mercy of others, so receiving good care is much appreciated. As a nurse, I can be somewhat critical because of knowing how things should be. Doctors community hospital surpassed my expectations and I would highly recommend it to family or friends!

Came in to the emergency room at 9:30 am. At 11:30 I still hadn't spoken to a doctor. Thought services were improving with the last owners. It's taken 5 giant steps backwards. I most definitely do not recommend DCH if you want friendly fast healthcare, drive the extra 19-50 miles to a real emergency care facility.

I had emergency hysterectomy surgery tonight and I believe in leaving feedback when excellent service is deserved. I want to first start off by saying when I arrived, intake was very efficient and courteous. When I got to the back, there are several individuals that I’m going to name that we’re just outstanding and went above and beyond. The first person is Joyce, She was absolutely amazing when taking my blood and trying to calm me down as I was a wreck and scared. I want to also recognize diamond who is a new staff member that worked alongside of Joyce. I was crying and scared and diamond was absolutely amazing and reassures me I am now amongst family and we are here to take care of you and make sure that you are successful to go home. As a new person in training this was very comforting when she said you were now like family. I next want to acknowledge Denise the director of emergency services who spent time with me, comforting me and making sure that the hospital and it’s Staff was meeting my needs. You rock Denise and go buckeyes.nNow I want to recognize Operating staff As they were professional, courteous and understanding. I also want to recognize the surgeon that was on call tonight Dr.Bunn he was very friendly and very assuring. Last but not least I want to recognize my OB/GYN as she made arrangements out of her evening to perform this emergency surgery Dr. Elise Smith OB/GYN. Thank you so much to the Staff from the bottom of my heart.

Best service ever. The doctors and nurses were attentive to my needs. They went above and beyond to find out what was wrong with me. The emergency room staff was very friendly and helpful.
