My friend and I had brunch at McGarvey’s, we had oysters, fried calamari, nachos and a salad. Food was really good, I loved the salad and calamari! Nachos were almost okay, lots of tortilla chips and little toppings. The gentleman bartender was very nice and friendly, customer service was great. We did indoor seating, there’s a couple tables outside the establishment as well. Comfy environment, bathrooms were very clean and so the restaurant which is great. If you get a chance to go to the Annapolis area, this is a good place to grab a bite at!

Can’t beat $1 oysters and delicious food. We came during Annapolis restaurant week and everything was tasty. The stuffed shrimp are wrapped in bacon & the fish of the day was swordfish which I got “Chesapeake style”. Service was also good.nnI would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.nnCocktails were okay but could be stronger.

As I wondered into this fine establishment on a warm spring afternoon, I requested a seat outside so as to be among the hustle and bustle that is Annapolis. It took about 45min to get a table witch is fine since the took our number and called us when it was ready, this allowed us to enjoy the water front and walk around the various knick-knack and oddity shops around the area. When it finally came time for our table we arrived only to be treated with nothing short of the best service. The staff is absolutely friendly amidst the busy afternoon rush! The food was cooked to order and came out perfect, I highly recommend their raw oysters on the half-shell. Overall a great experience. Its probably not coveted with the prestigious 5-star that I rarely grant, but a fine the establishment none-the-less!!!!

Best shrimp and grits!! Perfectly seasoned and the texture was on point throughout the entire dish. I ordered for lunch thinking I would still be hungry after, and I couldn't even finish this entire plate. The jumbo shrimp are done right, and our drinks were amazing too!nThanks for the great service and experience for us and our six year old, McGarvey's!

This place is super beautiful inside. The food is delicious. My husband and I chowed down on a ton of fresh oysters and they were sstteelllarr. Also, I love an old bar.
