We had the fried mushrooms as our appetizer. 10/10 phenomenal. The cosmic sauce that comes with it is excellent. Had the dragon tuna in a spicy sauce for entree. Can not say enough about how amazing it was. The service was equally exceptional. Corey was our server and he was amazing. If you haven't tried this place, I absolutely encourage you to give it a try. One of the very top places in lake charles.

Seldom do I ever write a review. Most times before visiting a restaurant I exam reviews and choose where to dine based on good reviews. Consequently, I feel it necessary to share my experience last night at Luna Bar & Grill. We arrived and were promptly seated and the waiter took our order. It took 55 minutes for us to receive our meal from the time we placed the order. My wife order the a Filet Dinner and I a Salmon Dinner. My Salmon was awful! It was not fresh and had a strong odor and taste. I shared a portion with my wife, who agreed it was not a good piece of fish. I made the waiter aware of my concerns and suggested he not serve that same dish to others. He promptly removed the dish and returned it to the kitchen and then promptly brought me the check including charges for the Old Salmon plate. I paid for it without issues but will never return and would recommend all avoid this establishment!

I am only sharing this to inform people who care. I wanted some local food while visiting town. The group I came with wanted brunch so we came to Lunas. I noticed at the bottom of the menu it says the shrimp were imported. When I asked they said the box said INDIA on it. I cannot eat shrimp from INDIA while I’m in Louisiana. Maybe it’s just me but that’s cool. They were kinda rude when I asked where the shrimp were imported from and as the staff was informed they would look our way and discuss the situation. Kinda awkward. Other than that and the very limited menu on Sundays I think this is a nice place to eat and hang out.

This place is good. Good cocktails, excellent food, and friendly service. Dave is a musician as well, so the entire place is covered with band posters, and music references. The prices won’t break the bank, and the atmosphere is inviting. Overall, it is great family place that can also work for a date night or a business happy hour.nNote: the tuna plates are to die for!

A great place to stop! Perfect atmosphere with very cool art and decor. The food is amazing!!!! Love it! We will be back the next time we come through Lake Charles.
