The buffet was the worst we ever had. We did get there at 7 pm. We had no idea what the seasonings they had used for it not to taste good. I ordered a broccoli and cheese potato. Very good. The two waitresses were very nice.
Been a very long time since we ate at a Shoney's. Was not disappointed one bit. Always a GREAT Buffet.
Used to love Shoney's. Buffet was barely passable and most food was not even warm. Service we got one cup of coffee. Mask signs were up but waitresses had theirs pulled down and many customers weren't wearing masks.
The place was dirty and in bad repair. The food was a buffet only, tasted bad, and was left on the buffet too long. The fish was out so long it was crusted and dried out. The worst dining experience ever. The only good part was the dessert and salad.
Stopped on our way to New Orleans. Chicken was cooked beyond edible. Seen masks required on door. Waitresses had masks but were pulled down not covering and yet they had vinyl gloves set out to wear at the buffet. We have been to many Shoneys across country enjoyed them all except this one. Lady sitting behind me coughing. If Louisiana has a mask requirement this Shoneys did not enforce it. Totally disappointed.
