Factory Connection

I am not one to normally leave reviews, however I had a very bad experience at the Mansfield location on 4/3/21. I have always done my shopping here, but after today I will be doing my business elsewhere. I checked the hours of operation on the website where it stated the location would close at 7:00. My children and I arrived at 5:30pm, upon entering the building, one of the two ladies working stated “ugh, another one just pulled up”. I thought to myself, wow that was a very rude comment to make amongst your customers. There were quite a few shoppers in the store at this time. I assumed the hours must have been wrong on the website so I began rushing to gather the items that we needed. I found a pair of shoes for my child, I called her to come into the store to try them on. The employees had already locked the door, the time was 5:50pm, which is understandable, it’s a Saturday and they are ready to get home I’m sure. There were two employees working, I asked the African American lady if she would mind opening the door for my 12 year old daughter. The employee stated that they can not let anyone in after locking the door and that technically they were already closed. I said “ma’am, I just need her to try on this pair of shoes and then I am checking out”. She stated again, “I will not let her in. Technically we’re already closed”. The time was now 6:05pm. So this employee would not allow MY child to come into the store with me and my other two children. Baffling.nnThat was the rudest person I believe I have ever come into contact with. I am a retail district manager of several stores across Northwest LA so I have definitely encountered my fair share of rude behavior.nnI do not know the exact amount, if I had to guess I would say that I had about $300+ worth of clothing that I was about to purchase. After the rude behavior from your employee, I left the store without purchasing a single item. I would suggest that in the future, these employees should be taught that in retail, the store doesn’t close until the last customer departs. No matter what time it is. This employee should definitely not be working in retail.

I'm sorry to say but I use to enjoy going to factory connection, but now wow!! The prices are just to high. With the way the economy s now.i can't afford it.

The lady was rude to me and my husband from the moment we walked in . We just turned around and walked out
