Finish Line

Today’s experience was far from delightful. Let’s just say a manager in trainer accused me and my younger brother of stealing merchandise. As I was leaving the store she jumps in front of us to block the door and yells for management. As she accuses us she saw us stick an item in our pocket. As I explained to her she has us mistaken, she didn’t want to hear and she proceeds to explain to her manager. The manager comes over and was very professional. I explained to him what she thought she saw stick in my pocket was not one of their items. He was very polite, deescalated the situation that should not have occurred in the first place. He was very apologetic and explain how she is in training to be a manager and she is being taught to be assertive and aware of what’s going on out in the floor which I fully understand but to blatantly accuse an individual of stealing is wrong and consequences should follow. Her actions today in my opinion were unbecoming of a manager. The store manager did apologize, told me to come see him and he would take care of me on a future purchase, which I am extremely appreciative for him doing that. But the fact still remains that she was the one in the wrong and didn’t apologize for the humiliation of being accused of stealing in front of other patrons... She sat there looking like a fool. Today’s events could have turned to another episode of what we are all seeing all over different media outlets I am beyond grateful to be sitting at home and writing this review and not in jail cell for being accused of retail theft. I'm sure the place is good, but I walked in the door, they looked at my sneakers and said they were sold out on a model I wasn't wearing. There was a bit of a jump the gun, and they suggested another store in the plaza. This was my second store that day, and the third didn't have my sneakers either.

Best experience ever!! The manager and the rest of the employees have the best customer service ever!!

Courteous staff. Clean store.
