Big box stores do not offer the high-end high-quality products on which serious outdoors people can truly rely.nnThe staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I could give this wonderful business more than 5 stars! Excellent customer service, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a great selection of merchandise. They came to the rescue today for my freshman Hokie daughter who brought just about everything to Blacksburg with her except for a rain jacket! A special thanks to Isabel for her exceptional customer service! Walkabout has earned my business and I will recommend this fabulous small business to everyone I know!
The team at Walkabout Outfitter is great. They are helpful and make you feel like you are a valued customer. I mostly shop there for shoes but I also enjoy shopping their selection of other outdoor items.
