This Food lion is great and the people that work there are very polite but its not stocked as well as the 5th street store or the Monticello store maybe its smaller or more customersnI don't know????

Store and parking lot need a little cosmetic work but the service there's good and they have a great selection

I didn’t really like the Willoughby Square Food Lion in Charlottesville.nI approached an employee to tell them there was a slippery spot in the aisle. The employee thought I was going to say they needed to wear masks. (The employee wasn’t wearing one) The employee very rudely said “I know what you’re going to say, I just took my mask off for a minute” then they quickly walked away! I went to customer service and the girl asked if I would like to speak to a manager and told me I’d have to wait 15-20 minutes to speak to the manager. I said I don’t have time to wait, told her about the slippery spot and how I was treated. She offered to take down my name/ number and have the manager call me. I said sure. After she took my name/number I paid for my items and left. A “manager” called me a half hour later, I missed the call.nThey left a voicemail, this is what they said - “Hello, this is Food Lion, I hope you will shop with us again. If you want to speak with me you can call the store. The number should be on your caller ID. Thank you. Bye.”nThat’s exactly what they said word for word. Didn’t leave a name, no apology, nothing. I didn’t call back. Clearly they don’t really care about their customers at this Food Lion!

It is convenient to were I live and it's usually not crowded and the prices are ok and most Food Lion brands are as well.
