Mark was great to work with for my FFL transfer! First time I have ever went through Hy & Mike's and will only go through them moving forward. It was a pleasure working with Mark.

These guys seriously need a lesson in customer service. I came in a few days ago to look at some jewelry and was ignored the second I walked through the door. No greeting or anything just ignored. Never once was I asked if there was anything I wanted to look at or if I needed help with anything just flat out ignored the entire time I was there. And these guys were not busy at all just lazy plain and simple there was literally ONE other customer in the store. Since when does one customer need 3 employees helping them? What a joke. Not to mention their jewelry selection was pathetic one display case and that was it. That was the whole reason I went in was looking for jewelry. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

Hy and Mikes has been great to me for years until recently. I had a fairly expensive (+$1,000) guitar in pawn for about a year and finally was ready to pick it up. When I arrived the guitar had been dropped and had significant damage. They gave me an option to get the repair bill or to take the guitar at no fee to get out which would have been around $350. The reason I'm upset is I was never notified the guitar was dropped and even though I didn't have to pay to get it out I have paid interest for almost a year of about $30 a month. I finally got my guitar tech to take a look ath the guitar and it's over $700 to get it fixed correctly and be playable. I think I should have been notified when the guitar was dropped and even though I didn't pay to get it out the interest I have paid was nearly the price to get the guitar so no win there. I now have a high end guitar that doesn't play and I can't sell. I understand things happen but not being notified when the guitar was dropped is frustating. Thought they would have done more as I've been a customer for years.
