My wife and I passed The Rug Gallery on the way back from the Lookout Farm and saw a sign that they were closing soon. We walked inside and spoke with the owner, who told us that their building had been sold and the new owners were kicking them out so they could make more profits. Very sad to see a family business like this pushed out.nnThey have a huge select of handmade rugs that are definitely heirloom pieces. He offered us a medium size handmade Afghan rug for $250, which he basically loaned to us so we would go to the atm and come back to pay him. This rug would probably cost over $500 at full price.nnPlease go in here before November and support a local family owned business. These rugs are beautiful and they’re willing to sell them for discount prices.
Good selection of rugs. Very nice owners.
