Visiting from New York we came here because it wasn't far from where we staying and wasn't disappointed. Drinks were more than reasonable. It truly is just a laid back dive bar and atmosphere was relaxing.
Very cool neighborhood bar. We went there to finnish our night out and enjoyed the back patio area. Lots of outdoor seating and a great selection make Nachbar a nice gathering point.
Decent drinks and a recommendable patio, great really. I always thought the inside of the Nachbar had an uncomfortable energy -- bad chi? :-P Not that that matters now, with the Rona.
Best hangout of the pre-pandemic era. Friendly people, even friendlier beer and whisky. My old German Shepherd, Conan the Bavarian, loved this place.
Favorite bar in Louisville. A great patio, great beer list and a lot of character.
