I have been waiting for. Four month to see Dr. Bernie after my operation. Four month and then hour and half more at his office.nWhen he arrived, barely looked at me and said so fast what I’ve been waiting for a seat and talk kind thing with a doctor. To educate myself about my health situation . Didn’t tell me anything. Didn’t explained me anything. So, he left to take care another paciente meanwhile his assistant prepared my shot. Not friendly at all the stuff. I was in so much pain and no compassion at all.nHe came back and still could not answered me like he didn’t had the time for. Gave me the shot and left. It’s me or something is wrong with this picture??? I have been waiting for four months to Learn about my health. I never felt so much pain and suffering in my life and when finally the doctor comes, I still didn’t learn anything.nWe don’t need doctors like this around. I would never Recommend him to anyone. Sadly I have to give this review. That’s is my review. Terrible experience.

This review is directed to the ENT department. Absolutely Terrible experience, staff is very slow the two assistants that I spoke with were either new or completely uneducated. I feel like I’m in a third world country. No one ever has a clue as to what’s going on. How do you lose paperwork? Claim that they will send you results then two months later no results are sent. I called and asked as to why my results are not in and it’s because they didn’t get my blood tested so now my blood is on hold. They don’t know why it hasn’t been tested? Ok so it’s my job to find out? I asked them what they suggest I do? They refer me to call my insurance company. I call my insurance company and they are completely shocked that ENT referred me to call them they said that maybe I should try the lab to see what’s going on. I call Rosenthal’s office back get the number for the lab that my blood work was sent to, The lab tells me that too many allergies were checked off and he has emailed the nurse with that information. Which no one told me. It’s Funny that when I went to Rosenthal‘s they told me to check off exactly what I wanted which is what I did. Now they’re telling me I need to check off less than 30 possible allergens, OK so I do that. The assistant then tells me to email it to the lab, no that’s your job. I call the lab The guy tells me once your medical provider SENDS in the paperwork by email, it will be done in 48 hours. To call MMG in 48-72 hours and my results should be in. A week later the results are still not in. I called them again. Can you please check if my results are in? Oh yes they say it’s in now. How funny that when I call its in, all of a sudden. They did say they cannot send me results until I speak with the doctor. So I make an appointment to speak with the doctor to get my blood test results. He said the nurses will send out the results today as well as a booklet. Fast forward to eight days later, no booklet no results, so I call again wasting more of my precious time and energy. Oh sure we Need to make you the booklet and we can send you your results by email. Did I get it? no! One minute later I get a text message saying that the booklet was sent out by mail today. It’s so funny that the booklet they had to make was made in one minute and was already in the mail today. But still no results from the blood test by email. The lack of respect and care is unacceptable. Also if you do not know the answer don’t lie to your patients just find someone who actually knows the answer. It’s not hard. Do not ever go to the ENT department here.nI will say that I have had a good experience with other departments just not this one!
I have had no problems with the doctors at Maui Medical. My issue is with their horrible phone system. It always takes a very long time for anyone to answer. As I type this review, I'm at over 10 minutes of the phone ringing with no answer, after I made the initial selections. I need to talk to a doctor about a refill. I have no other number except the main phone number to call. Unacceptable.
Just had a 5 Stars experience with Ashley on the phone this morning. I called to see if my Doctor has sent a referral to my out of office Doctor's Appointment. Ashley connected me to my Doctor but went into voice message. She came back on the line to let me know that it went into voice message and to see what I wanted. I explained, she said, let me checked. After a minute, Ashley came back on the phone advising me that the referral is done and I called your Doctor and your appointment is at 11:40am today. I was amazed as normally they would tell me to leave a message with my Doctor. Not only she confirmed the referral was sent but the date and time for my appointment. Thank you Ashley.
