Matteo's Osteria

This is what Italian dining should be, simple, delicious, inviting, not snooty. We really enjoyed incredible service, super attentive and not overwhelming. We notice many people who were return customers around us, a really good sign. Our food was prepared very well and quickly, we were the first table seated very early, but, noticed other tables quickly getting their orders. The drinks were great. We love the care and attention (we had our 4 and 5 year old with us) and the delicious food. This was a really nice way to end our trip to Maui! Thank you so much!!

This was one of the best meals we’ve had in a LONG time and by far the best meal we had on Maui this trip. Both the service and the food were amazing!! Kiana was wonderful and really made our night great. This will be a spot we will return to over and over.

Everything was great. Veggies were fresh and delicious. Fish was nicely prepared. Service was excellent.

The Italian food here could be comparable to less than that of a normal, run of the mill Olive Garden. Its ludicrously overpriced for the quality of food served. The waiter seemed almost rude at times and was very condescending. The calamari was bland, tasteless and extremely chewy as if it was a rubber hose. The Lasagna's only half decent factor was that it wasn't entirely tasteless, it was so oily and the pasta it was on was overcooked so it felt fairly mushy. And the desert was somewhat bearable but was in such a tiny portion. The fact that they trust the chefs quality of food enough to not even place salt and pepper on the table is ridiculous. Of course, maybe if I had ordered something else it may not have been as bad.

Had a great experience at Matteo's. We sat at the bar with Stephanie. Service was top-notch, the food was amazing, and I really liked the atmosphere. Reservations are recommended although we got lucky and were seated right away without one due to a cancelation. Thank you Stephanie and Chefs Cameron and Isaiah! We will be back for sure. ud83eudd19
