Quirky spot that resembles a dive bar of days gone by. Filled with regulars sipping cocktails and white wine, where everyone seemed to know each other’s name. The service was quick, if not particularly warm, and the sandwiches were fairly hearty, if not thoughtfully prepared. It was a $60 lunch for two adults and a kiddo that left us feeling full but unsatisfied.

A huge thank you to Jan who welcomed us in with an immaculately kept bar and the exact personality of a small and quaint Hawaiian lounge I’d expect to see on the island of Kauai (or apparently on Maui). Clearly Maui and her hospitality is alive and well. This little bar clearly has a following of good people from the aina as well as travelers from afar. I ate the daily special sandwich of turkey, bacon, island avocado, onion, tomato and spouts on delicious toasted sourdough with house potato salad and a yummy pickle. My partner ate the potato’s skins filled with house chili and topped with cheddar and scallions. You don’t find many spots around here that are this clean which makes me feel at home and well taken care of. Dina, the owner, was in and it was clear the regulars adored her. Keep it up Dina’s! We can literally walk to you mostly along the beach (Sugar Beach) to get to you. What a dream!!! ud83cudfddud83cudf3aud83eudd8e

This is a great place to stop! Good drinks and and bar food. The drinks are fairly priced, which I can't say for most of Maui.

Cute place for food and drinks right at Sugar Beach! Enjoyed the Reuben sandwich too.

Great local spot. Drinks are inexpensive, which is a plus, and they serve most of the top shelf liquors. Light fare is also served.
