The surgery and recovery team were phenomenal. Everyone was so nice from the moment I walked through the door. They called several times prior to surgery to ensure I was prepared. When I got there the pre-surgery prep was efficient and everyone involved was so nice! My anesthesiologist was amazing. I went to sleep and woke up with no pain. The recovery nursing staff were all incredible. I was nervous about surgery, but the staff made it a great experience.
SHAME ON YOUnWe checked in to the ER at noon on Friday, the waiting room was packed all guests had to sit outside in the heat, when my husband checked in with symptoms of a heart problem with a high pulse rate and blood pressure we were told we would be with you shortly. Shortly meant they would call him in for an EKG after 30 minutes then send him back out into the waiting room, then they would call him back in for a chest X-ray and 4hours later for blood work. Sending him back into the waiting room without any monitoring or speaking with a doctor the only way they would notice him is if he collapsed. Additionally they let patients sit there without any one coming around with water. The one machine that you could purchase any was completely OUT. So in addition to all the patients being ill they were additionally becoming dehydrated. Someone finally came out after 6 hours to take his insurance information so they could bill him for this unconscionable medical service they were performing. I watched 4 people walk out. After becoming totally frustrated . We tried to stick it out as my husband started experiencing chest pain and his pulse rate went up and he started developing a fever.nEvery 2hr they would come around with a BP , temperature, oxygen level, and pulse rate machine in the waiting room to cover themselves in case of a lawsuit.nWe waited 11 HOURS before we decided to go to another hospital.nThis type of medical service is Incompetent, if you need immediate care call 911 and come by ambulance.nI am sure the hospital itself takes better care of patients but after this experience we will never be back.
So, I live in Jacksonville, Florida, I’ve never been to this hospital. But, my mom lived in Pima, AZ for a while. July, 2018. She had a stroke, gotten life flighted here. She had a hemorrhage stroke. Almost bled to death. The Neurosurgeons saved her life. She had a 30% chance of living. Nearly died, I am over 1,000 miles away, couldn’t do nothing at the time. I have family there, but nothing I could do, but cry. They were very helpful, and caring. Letting me know a lot about my mother during her after care of her surgery. She was in a medically induced coma for 2 months. After going to 2 rehabilitation centers. As of September, 2018, She’s finally got to come back home. She’s doing great. She’s not the same as before. But, glad she’s about to meet my daughter, and home. I wish I could remember the surgeons, doctors, and nurses name that made this happen. Thank you so much.
I took my mother this morning for her first Covid Vaccine, all I can say is WOW!!! Everyone was so organized and the process was super fast. The drive took longer than the entire process. Impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable everyone was, from the moment we walked up to the entrance, to the last person at the exit.nVery well coordinated and can’t say this enough WOW!! They all deserve a round of applause. GREAT JOB TO ALL!!!
I had a great experience here in the ER because of the caring staff. Jess the nurse and Erica in patient care were so kind and made me feel cared for. I don’t typically write these types of reviews but they made going through something difficult a little easier and that should be recognized.
