Bear Lake Luxury Rentals - The King Cabin

I love this cabin! This is the 2nd time we've stayed. I feel like this time around there were a lot of things that should have been done that weren't. I hope things change and if we come back things are different.

This was a fantastic place to stay. We had 26 people 12 of whom were kids age 8 and younger. And with the 3 living spaces it was perfect for everyone to have some space to do their own thing when needed. Would definitely recommend using this house.

We had a great time. Amazing family memories were made. However, this luxury rental was not very clean upon arrival. All fabric dining indoor and outdoor spaces had food messes from previous renters. One bathroom still had messes on the toilet. In the laundry room there was a bloody pillow on the dryer and a dirty rag left In the sink. The fridge inside and outside were not wiped down from previous renters. Still food and crumbs inside. All vents, dressers, ping pong table and TV’s were horribly dusty. We understand everyone’s version of clean is different but when you pay a cleaning fee of $500 you have a higher expectation. Door knobs were missing, gaming tables were broken or missing parts, screens broken. Microwave also didn’t work on the second day. Sent an email with no reply. There was a lot of space and we made it all work. Views were stunning. We felt management could have stepped it up quite a bit on service. Pools were awesome and clean. We felt some details need to be reviewed before advertising as a “luxury” rental. Would love to have more than one key for access to pool. Bring lots of kitchen accessories. They had a blender, mixer, crockpot and skillets (but the skillets didn’t work). Also advertised to sleep 39 but one trundle bed was missing so it slept 38. Bedding was very clean. There was no beach access at all. (It was a mile away from the Reserve and unkept and underwater. Quite disappointing when family hauls boats and jet skis from out of state. There was plenty of room to eat and enjoy playing games together. We found other beach access but in the description it advertises (private beach access). Smoke alarms went off randomly for two days. Nothing was burning. Maybe the batteries needed to be replaced. Sent an email but no response. We would love to stay here again if these issues are resolved. Management says they would be available if needed but we found they were only available if there were no big issues.nWe gathered family from 4 different states to celebrate our parents 50th. Although we had a wonderful and unforgettable time as a family, this could be “amazing” rental hasn’t been taken care of regularly. It has beautiful pictures to advertise, but the details inside have been unkept and overlooked. We sent pictures upon arrival and were told by management that everything is inspected by an inspector after each time. Would love to experience another rental sometime. We stayed at king cabin. We felt very safe and loved most of our experiences here. But it was very expensive and we had higher expectations.

Our children stayed in the cabins last year and couldn't stop talking about it! The place is beautiful with spectacular views. We would love to do a family reunion with everyone next time. We have always loved Bear Lake. Perfect place for hiking, fishing, 4 wheeling, biking, canoeing or any of the wonderful things you enjoy in the great outdoors! Eekk..... we are up there in September in a cabin and it was so much fun! The owner of the home was amazing and so kind! The house was fabulous! It was so clean you could eat off the floor, however I wouldn't recommend that. The beds were so comfortable! The view was gorgeous! The lake was 5 minutes away! We loved our weekend in Bear Lake and would really enjoy taking our kids with us next time.
