Nice, decently kept campground. Good space in each site. Close to highway, but noise really isn't that bad. Picnic table under pine tree was covered in sap, bathrooms could use some maintenance. Good water, scenic.
Nice trees and camp spot. Free water spigots and flush toilet. 3 bars verizon and at&t. Cheap at 10.00 day, 5.00 with America park pass. Pack it out.
Campground was just off the highway, fairly quiet but also full when we arrived. Thankfully there were free overflow spots just outside the camp gates that are perfect if you don't need any of its amenities.
Website indicated it was open. Sign at road didn't indicate otherwise. We pulled in, went up a road to a LOCKED GATE with a small sign that said, closed due to freezing overnight....and NO ROOM for an RV of any size to turn around, and a loooong back up around curved entrance road. In the several hours we spent trying to get out, several other rv's came in, and had the same issues, in. the. dark.nCould they PLEASE put a closed sign at the road when they're closed?!?!?!
Quiet, clean, potable water and toilets that flush! Great place to watch night sky.
